Kabo, Max Airlines to Airlift 4,105 Pilgrims From Kebbi Airport

4,105 Kebbi State Pilgrims would be airlifted from the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport, Birnin Kebbi to Saudi Arabia for the 2015 Hajj exercise, our correspondent gathered yesterday from senior officials in Medina, Saudi Arabia.

Deputy Governor of Kebbi State and chairman of the State Task Force Committee on Hajj, Samaila Dabai Yombe, when contacted also confirmed that the pilgrims would be airlifted by Kabo and Max airlines.

He said: "This year's airlift of the 4,105 intending pilgrims from Kebbi State which will be conducted through Sir Ahmadu Bello International airport, Birnin Kebbi will commence on Monday 7th 2015. The airlift is expected to be completed on September 16."

He said government has appointed sub-committees under the leadership of the acting Chairman of the Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Mohammed Umar Tilli to achieve a successful Hajj operation in the state.

According to him, the pilgrims would be divided into various groups for easy transportation to and from Saudi Arabia.
