Ilorin — The Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Hajia Fatimah Abolore-Jimoh, has said airlift of intending pilgrims from the state will start tomorrow, August 9th.
Fielding questions from journalists on Saturday at a special prayer organized for the intending pilgrims, Fatimah Abolore-Jimoh disclosed that the state contingent would be traveling with Saudi Arabian designated carrier, Fly-Nas Air, adding that the board had secured visas for over 1,700 intending pilgrims, while the remaining two hundred and seventy seven would be collected today.
Also speaking with journalists, the State Amirul Hajj and former Grand Khadi of the Shariah Court of Appeal, Retired Justice Idris Haroon, warned the pilgrims to desist from wrongdoings in the holy land.
