THE Biafra Nations Youth League (BNYL) has called for unity among all the organisations advocating for the independence of the region.
The call comes ahead of the All Biafra Conference initiated by the Organisation of Emerging African States, scheduled for Ghana on May 27.
Aghaulor Godspower, Public Relations Officer of BNYL, confirmed they had received an invitation and would attend.
“We are expected to send our delegates to the conference venue,” said Godspower.
He said according to the organisers the purpose of the conference is to unite the various pro Biafra groups.
“We are equally pushing for unity of the various ethnic groups which is the most important,” said Godspower.
Meanwhile, the league has rescheduled its congress set for the Cross River State to Tuesday.
It was initially scheduled for this past Saturday but called off for reasons not given.
“There’s need for us to go ahead with the Congress especially now that the Nigeria propagandist are using every means to disorganise us and divide our ranks,” said Godspower.
The event is set for Obudu.
