Kenya, Rwanda Dancers thrill Participants At Akwaaba

Participants at the just concluded Akwaaba 2015 Travel expo were left yearning for more as they were thrilled to the rich cultural dance presentations by the Kenyan and Rwandan dancers.

The yearly event witnessed over 200 foreigners participating at Akwaaba which started from the 22nd to 24th of November 2015 at the Eko Hotel Lagos.

The international event provides a platform for African countries and businesses to meet face to face with clients in order to market their product or services.

The dancers clad in their native attire, moved symmetrically with the melodious sound of their native home. With relentless dexterity and charm they swung from side to side, taking each step of the dance with ease.

First to perform were the Rwandan dancers. Dressed in white and red attire, with clanking bracelets on their legs, they moved with such energy and passion that the participants could not help but applaud.

Speaking after the presentation, the Rwandan High Commissioner, Nigeria, Ambassador Stanislas Kamanzi urged participant to explore the East African country.

He said the dance was a tip on the iceberg of what the country offers in terms of tourism adding that Rwanda has one of the most amazing sites in the world that travelers would love to see.

The ambassador added that the country offers opportunity to do business and also provide good relaxations spots for tourists.
